Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I donate to G-BiACK?
International donors can give through the Kilili Self Help Project (USA) — 100% of contributions reach G-BiACK with zero overhead deducted. Cheques payable to Kilili Self Help Project, 260 Marion Ave., Mill Valley, CA 94941, USA. For direct Kenya transfers or bank details, please contact us. You can also donate directly via our Donate page.
Can I visit the G-BiACK farm as an individual?
Yes — individuals, groups, schools, researchers and journalists are all welcome. We ask that you contact us in advance to book your visit so we can arrange a guided tour. Farm visits are generally free of charge, though group bookings are asked to make a small contribution toward farm expenses.
How long does a training course last?
Standard residential training at the G-BiACK campus lasts 3–4 weeks and covers all 8 essential elements of GROW BIOINTENSIVE farming. Shorter introductory workshops (1–3 days) are also available for groups. Community outreach training can be arranged to come to your location. Please contact us to discuss what works for your situation.
Do I need prior farming experience to train at G-BiACK?
No prior farming experience is required. Our training is practical and hands-on, suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced farmers who want to transition to biointensive, chemical-free methods. Training is conducted in English and Kiswahili.
Is G-BiACK a registered organisation?
Yes — G-BiACK is a fully registered Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Kenya. We maintain transparent financial records, publish annual reports, and are accountable to our donors, community members and the Kenyan government. International donations are processed through our US partner, the Kilili Self Help Project.
How can my organisation partner with G-BiACK?
We welcome partnerships with NGOs, international organisations, universities, county governments and the private sector. Partnership can take the form of joint training delivery, research collaboration, donor funding, in-kind support or farmer network development. Please use the contact form above or email us directly with a brief description of your organisation and what you have in mind.
